Carly Foster, a junior at Granite Bay High in California, placed second in the Division 2 girls final at the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section Championships at the Willow Hills course in Folsom. Foster clocked 18:11.9 to help Granite Bay place five scorers in the top 11 to edge St. Francis Sacramento by a 39-52 margin and capture the first team title for the program since 2010 and the fifth overall in Division 2.
