Donovan Cheruiyot, Kellen Ruiz, Colton Walker, Ashler Love, Paul Hobbs, Kellen Steplight and Evan Mitchell helped Vacaville capture its first CIF Sac-Joaquin Section boys team title since 1987 with a victory in the Division 2 final at the Willow Hills course in Folsom. Vacaville, which was Division 2 runner-up in 2019, placed five scorers in the top six and all seven athletes in the top 50 to produce a 20-74 victory over reigning champion Whitney.
